Grapes on a Vine is set in Atlanta, Georgia. Life for Kyle Hanson seems to be sweet. It looks like he has everything he wants in life – a gorgeous wife, beautiful home, and he is the art director at the High Museum of Art; yet, two things drape out of his reach. He and his wife, Brandy, cannot have children and he can’t seem to get his hands on a Vincent van Gogh painting he set his eyes on years ago. His impatience and arrogance motivates his desire to quench his thirst so he decides to eliminate one problem to find a solution for the other. Kyle plans a couple’s retreat camping trip set to get rid of his wife in order to benefit from a $500,000 insurance policy. He hires two hit-men to murder then lynch his wife to make the crime appear racially motivated. He can almost taste victory until his plans go sour and turns deadly.

The films stars Jazsmin Lewis (Barbershop 1, Barbershop 2: Back in Business, Deliver Us from Eva, and Three Can Play That Game) and Dwayne Boyd (The Gospel, Three Can Play That Game, and Lifetime?s Army Wives).
