Beautiful stories are being told as the recent DSLR wave of filmmaking has taken viewers and filmmakers by storm!

C3Stories was no exception when the Canon 7D was used in the production of All Gifted: The Meet and Greet, then again with Pete Chatmon of Double 7 Film to do the post production of The Bridge: Velvet Rope: Girls’ Night Out, shot exclusively on the Canon 7D by Leyla Tatiana Rosario.

  • Giant Robot Nike Viral

Pretty much the most salient point of information a person can know about me is that I love depictions of giant robots trashing cityscapes. It’s a leitmotif that comes up in almost all of my creative endeavors, and it takes earnest determination for me to produce art that doesn’t depict it. This is so much the case, that I actually am currently in possession of green screen footage that I shot with my friend, the very talented Laine Rettmer, that was for a spec commercial that has almost the exact scenario as the above animation. I’m now kind of pissed that we never finished making it, because we shot it more than a year ago. This is pretty awesome, though.

  • Brand Karma is Onto Your Company

Here’s a new site that makes completely concrete the modern truth of brand messaging: the customers are now in control. You can’t be an effective communicator in the modern marketplace if you don’t accept this fact. All you can do, as a company, is inject a compelling narrative into the conversation so that you don’t get left out of it.

    Check out Brandkarma.

  • Feminist Chaser: Woman’s Last Stand

That last post was a bit lewd for my tastes, and I just discovered that my friend Mackenzie Fegan directed a video response to this Dodge Charger commercial that apparently aired during the Super Bowl. Hey Dodge, what decade do you think we’re living in? Awesome video, Mackenzie.
