This afternoon Matt Jablin (w/whom I shared my very first film class at NYU a feeeeew years back) directed a series of spots that will appear on MTV2 starting Monday June 29th for “Indie Week”. They will be chronicling what I do as an independent imagemaker (films + marketing) and covered a scene dissection with actors Al Thompson (who was in my NYU thesis with Kerry Washington) and Daphnee Duplaix (w/whom I went to middle school with!). They also captured a candid interview with me, Shani Harris Peterson, and Candice Sanchez McFarlane (pictured in order).

Expect (4-6) 30 second spots. I’m really looking forward to seeing what Matt and his team do with the footage. He’s got a great interview style and I’m sure we gave some detailed answers during our conversation. Shout out to Eric Arriola for reconnecting us.

As for next week, stay tuned to Fox Business Channel’s profile on Double 7 Boutique’s unique marketing and branding campaigns. Free press is the best!
