Trailer Park Thursdays: Clash of the Titans

My first interaction with HBO was watching this movie down at my grandma’s house in Newport News, Virginia. My sister and I watched it probably 2x per day. In the early 80s there wasn’t a lot of content, youngins. Anyway, check out the trailer for the “update”, coming this summer. And watch below for the original trailer. FYI: it is true, you will turn to stone if you look at Medusa.

Clooney gets better and better, and so does Reitman. Artistic growth is a dish I enjoy.

The official trailer for 500 Days of Summer, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel. I’m excited to see how they handled this story structure and Gordon-Levitt is definitely an actor to keep an eye on. Directed by Marc Webb. In theaters July 17th!

The official trailer for Whatever Works, starring Larry David. Directed by Woody Allen. You KNOW this is gonna be funny. In theaters June 19th!

They’ve been keeping the plot under wraps — apparently there are 2 major plot twists. From our behind the scenes sources we have heard that the film is actually very, very good — and one such review comes from someone who is NOT a Will Smith fan.

We, however, roll with the Fresh Prince and expect this joint to be quite tight. If you’re reading this Will, which you should be!, we’ve got some scripts for you. Wanna get that Oscar?

In theaters next Friday, December 19th.

Got a little backed up today, plotting film industry takeover with Anthony Artis and Benjamin Ahr Harrison. Plus a little dose of marketing magic with our Resident Creative Director, Candice Sanchez McFarlane.

Anyway, Slumdog Millionaire isn’t anything new per se, but I’m really hoping the schedule will free up soon so I can see this. It looks tight.

Has anyone peeped it yet? Let us know your thoughts…

Casino Royale was the joint. This looks even better. I’ll be at Clifton Commons AMC in New Jersey at 745pm enjoying my damned self with a big bag of popcorn. Word on the street is that the opening car chase in this film tops the foot chase in Casino Royale.

    Is that even possible?

FYI: I’m slowly realizing that I have an action film in me…and it’s called $FREE.99!!!

Shia LaBeouf does it again, and our homie Anthony Mackie is in this thriller too. Looks pretty damn interesting, one of those, “I hope that never happens to me” type premises. In theaters this September…just two months before the next James Bond bonanza, Quantum of Solace…

    M. Night Shymalan is back, fittingly on Friday the 13th, with his next piece of what I hope will be spine tingling work. It seems that people all love The Sixth Sense, but then the masses are split on how to feel about his other films. Personally, Unbreakable was the one for me and it would be ill if they set off the trilogy for that the way he intended it to be. Either way, I will be seeing this tomorrow! And please, if you have kids, don’t bring them to the midnight screening. This is his first R-rated film…
